What we do

We are a travel company from Santander and a family business that has spent 10 years creating experiences for discovering, enjoying and connecting with Colombia.

We’re driven by adventure: bikes, mountains, rivers and the roads that lead to incredible places. We’re just as driven by people: their stories, their food, their traditions, and the chance to spend time with the people who make Santander such a special place.

We design active, adventurous experiences for people who want to see a place differently: riding rural roads, running rivers, walking in the mountains, or simply letting our landscapes surprise them.

Our heart is in Santander, and above all in the majestic Chicamocha Canyon, a place we know, ride and love. From here we have also set out to discover other roads and destinations across Colombia.

We believe travel is much more than arriving somewhere. It’s living it, feeling it and connecting with it. So every experience we create tries to leave you with more than a photo: a story, a feeling, plenty of friends, something learned and a real wish to come back.

No two trips have to be the same. We can adjust the route, the pace, the level of challenge and the length of any trip, so it fits your group, whether you’re new to mountain biking or have years of bikepacking behind you. Tell us what you have in mind.

A story still rolling

Regiones started as a family project and, over the years, became a way of life.

Our path has been shaped by guiding, adventure tourism, the bicycle, work with communities and the constant search for new roads.

Today we keep doing what we love: creating experiences, riding every corner of the mountains, and sharing it with travelers from Colombia and around the world.

And the best part is that there are still plenty of roads left to ride.

How we travel

We believe in traveling with all your senses awake.

In knowing a place beyond the photograph. In riding its roads, hearing its stories, tasting its food, talking with its people and letting the mountains surprise us.

That is why every experience we create is all adventure, carries the spirit of the mountain towns, and has a lot of us in it.

Our values

Adventure

We like to leave the well-known route. Riding, walking, paddling and exploring are how we discover this fascinating world.

Region

Santander is our home and its mountains are our inspiration. We know it because we live it, and that lets us share it as it really is.

Connection

We create experiences that bring people closer to nature, to communities and to what is real.

Family

Regiones was born in a family and keeps growing as a team. We believe in bringing talents together, sharing what we know and working together on what we love.

Paola Arenas Duarte

Paola Arenas Duarte

Founder · Tour guide · Social communicator · Journalist

Bikes and mountains are part of how she lives and how she understands the world. A certified tour guide and a trained social communicator and journalist, she is passionate about mountain biking and specializes in designing mountain bike routes and experiences that connect travelers with the essence of each region.

For her, it is about more than covering ground: she wants the bike to be a bridge to discovering towns, spending time with their communities, and getting to know their food, customs, traditions and the stories that make each place unique. She believes it is in exactly those encounters that a genuine connection is born between the traveler, the region and its people.

A lover of the mountains, she finds far more than scenery in them: she sees them as teachers, guides, and sources of wisdom and strength. That bond with nature shapes how she creates experiences and how she passes on to others the value of exploring, learning and marveling at the land.

Her passion for Santander and for working with communities also shows in her role as social program manager at the Fundación Caminos Nativos, where she drives initiatives that link tourism, cycling and social development.

Her purpose: that every road traveled brings us closer to what is genuine, to its people, and to ourselves.
